Transfer Case Swap
Santa came a little early this year and brought me this:
 It's a used used 4:1 transfer case out of a Rubicon JK which will be replacing my 2.72:1 transfer case. This will get me half way to my desired crawl ratio. I'll get the rest with a re-gear one of these days. It's a christmas present, so I can't do anything with it yet, but I'll be on Holiday the week after chrismas, and plan on installing it then. The research I've done says that's it's a direct replacement for the one I have, and should only take a couple hours to swap. However, I've never done this before, so if someone has any advice and/or would like to help I would be forever grateful for it.

Santa was nice to you. The hard part is supporting the tranny when taking the skid plate off and getting to the nuts with a wrench. Space is tight. If I have time I will help. George

congrats, i have a few things i need to wrench on mine and probably won't have time till after the holidays either, maybe we can have a tech day/wrench party in Jan/Feb?

I PM'ed you my phone numbers. Can't do it the 19th. It's a christmas present, so I'm not suppose to do anything with it until after christmas. My plan is to install it on Monday and/or Tuesday, Dec 28/29. Do you know if you'll be available then? Paul
